Thursday, September 3 | 5:30–8:30 p.m.
Downtown San Pedro
Spend the evening exploring galleries, local businesses, restaurants and entertainment throughout Downtown San Pedro. This month’s ArtWalk also includes live music outside the Grand Annex and the unveiling of a new artist-designed crosswalk at Sixth and Mesa streets.

Sixth and Mesa streets
Pick up farm-fresh produce, prepared foods, handcrafted items and more at San Pedro’s weekly farmers market. Its downtown location makes it easy to combine your visit with lunch or a stop at one of the neighborhood’s local businesses.

Saturday, September 5 | 11:45 a.m.–12:15 p.m.
Angels Gate Park, 3600 S. Gaffey Street
Experience one of San Pedro’s most recognizable landmarks during this free community bell-ringing program. Visitors can learn more about the bell while enjoying sweeping coastal views from Angels Gate Park.
Saturday, September 5 | 3–10 p.m.
Point Fermin Park, 807 W. Paseo del Mar
This annual community gathering brings an afternoon and evening of live music, speakers and family activities to Point Fermin Park. The oceanfront setting makes it an especially enjoyable way to spend a late-summer Saturday in San Pedro.
Wednesday, September 9
Battleship IOWA, 250 S. Harbor Boulevard
Celebrate the beginning of the football season in a uniquely San Pedro setting. Hosted by the San Pedro Chamber of Commerce, this ticketed fundraiser features food, beverages and waterfront atmosphere aboard the historic Battleship IOWA.

Thursday, September 10 | 7–9 p.m.
Grand Annex, 434 W. Sixth Street
Local musicians, singers and poets take the stage during the Grand Annex’s monthly Open Mic Night. Performers can sign up beginning at 6:30 p.m., while audience members are welcome to come enjoy an evening of emerging local talent.

Friday, September 11 | 8:30–10 a.m.
Battleship IOWA, 250 S. Harbor Boulevard
The Battleship IOWA will host a special ceremony marking the 25th anniversary of September 11. The waterfront setting provides a meaningful location for the community to gather, remember and pay tribute.
Saturday, September 12 | 9–10:30 a.m.
Cabrillo Marine Aquarium, 3720 Stephen M. White Drive
Join the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium education team for its monthly native-garden restoration program. Volunteers can spend time outdoors, learn about native plants and help care for the aquarium’s garden. The activity is free and open to all ages, although children must be accompanied by an adult.

AltaSea at the Port of Los Angeles
Discover some of the innovative work taking place along San Pedro’s waterfront. AltaSea’s public open house features educational presentations, workshops and exhibits focused on ocean science, sustainability and the blue economy.

Cabrillo Marine Aquarium and Cabrillo Beach area
Help care for San Pedro’s coastline during this community cleanup event. It’s a rewarding opportunity for individuals, families and local groups to spend the morning outdoors while making a positive difference.

Sunday, September 20 | 3 p.m.
Grand Annex, 434 W. Sixth Street
Presented by the San Pedro Heritage Museum, this special program explores how San Pedro has been represented on screen. It’s an entertaining opportunity to learn more about the community’s history and its longstanding connection to the film industry.
Saturday, September 26 | 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
Downtown Harbor, 600 Sampson Way
See the Port of Los Angeles from the water during a free, fully narrated harbor tour. Boats are scheduled to depart every 30 minutes, and tours last approximately 50 minutes. A pet-friendly tour is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. and a Spanish-language tour for 1 p.m.
Boarding is first-come, first-served, and the line may close early when capacity is reached, so arriving early is recommended.

Saturday, September 26 | 8 p.m.
Grand Annex, 434 W. Sixth Street
Step into a colorful tiki cocktail party and murder mystery inspired by the distinctive artwork of SHAG. This theatrical production combines music, mystery and mid-century style for one of the month’s more unusual entertainment options.
Sunday, September 27 | 4 p.m.
Grand Annex, 434 W. Sixth Street
Close out the month with the Honey Whiskey Trio and their signature vocal harmonies. This Sunday-afternoon performance offers a relaxed way to enjoy live music in Downtown San Pedro.
